Had been to Pune over the last weekend with mom and Dad to visit my uncle's. Abt. the place.. what do I say, well, it's just beautiful. My uncle stays at Chinchwad which is in outskirts of Pune ( between Pune and Mumbai ). The place is calm, serene, people carrying on with life at their own pace. Less crowded roads, the constant drizzle, the hills around, the trees and bushes, it was just great. It was monsoon season and the timing could not have been better. You have to see it to believe it.
My uncle stays in a govt. quarters where a total of 8 families stay. The campus is huge with lots of trees ( reminded of my college ). The one thought that came to my mind was, shift in to a place like this, get a broadband connection and work from home. One could build great products working from such a great environment.
Pune is being looked at as the next destination for IT companies after Bangalore. Sad.. we're going to loose yet another beautiful city.
