Finished reading "The Fountain Head" at around 6.30 yesterday morning. One of the greatest stuff I have read. I guess I'll read it once more. This is the second novel after "The God Father" that has been so compelling that I have wanted to read it once more. ( the reasons, however are very different ). The thing that I liked about Fountain Head was the different characters and their different viewpoints. The book did not try to preach any particular philosophy ( though in the end, it seemed to be more supportive of Howard Roark's philosophies, or maybe it was doing that from the beginning, and I just refused to see it ). I am happy to have read this book, esp. at this point of time.

Coming to other things in life, watched two movies this week. "Shabd" and "Meet the Fockers". "Shabd" was a waste of time and "Meet the Fockers" turned out to be a cheap comedy. ( I'd rank it next to "40 days and 40 nights" among the movies I have seen, in terms of the cheapness of its comedy ).

Took part in Abacus Online Programming Contest last weekend. I'd have liked it more if the problems were tougher and the time was more. 5 hrs was too less and it was more of a coding contest than a problem solving contest. Anyways, it was a good relief to spend some time enjoying the thinking and coding.
