Watching stories covered by news channels is turning an already cynical-me into a super-cynical-me. Soo much so that it's getting a injurious to health. Here are a few stories that have been clogging the media in the recent past.
1. IIM-B's top salary is in news for days together. Why?? When did news items become ad-commercials?
2. Sonia Gandhi resigns and vows to contest again from Rai-Bareilli !! Now, what is the point?? Just because a bunch of jokers pay huge taxes, does it mean that some out-of-mind irrational politician can throw it away by conducting meaningless elections?
3. A couple of people get seriously injured due to poor crowd management at a cricket stadium, and, when the authorities are questioned - here we go, the blame game starts. When would people learn to accept responsibilities?
4. And, the news channels themselves are not the cleanest of the lot. All they are best at is in 'sensationalizing'. Now, how does sound this for a news headline : 'Some model's wardrobe malfunctions in a fashion show' ( with smudged video as well ). Devudaaa.. Ayyo.. Ayyo..
