5.SomeOne

Finally got the 'five point someone' book from Deepak and finished reading it in a single stretch. Trying to recollect, when was the last time I did a marathon reading of any novel. Must be some Sydney Sheldon, or, was it 'Love Story'? Anyway, that's irrelevent. And, this book must defenitely not be confused with any of those kinds.

The flow was great. There was no jump between two story lines ( which usually happens in some Fredrick Forsyth novels, which gets irritating at times ). The content was nice, containing the events and the chareveter's thoughts around the flow of events. And, the author has a nice way of mixing in humour. Also, since this book is based on campus life in an Indian college, almost all Indians who have been in college would be able to identify with the characters. Daunting assignments, gruelling night-outs for exams, vodka, campus interviews, hostel.... sounds familiar? That's where, I guess, the author scores. Looking forward to reading his next one.

Dude, you say it is about _an Indian college_, and it is all too familiar, but what IITians say is that the incidents can happen only in IITs! Some kind of snob mentality!
